The Alpha Course
Happy New Year! Wasn’t it great to be back in church and worshipping together on Sunday? With the new year comes new groups and courses. I’m excited to let you know that this term we’re going to have Iain and Eliza Bailey running the Alpha course at Kerith Windsor. Read on to find out more about the Alpha course and how you can get involved.
What is Alpha?
Alpha is a 10-week course exploring the big questions of the Christian faith.
Each evening starts with a time to eat together and chat. Then we gather to watch a 30-minute video addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us? After the video, there’s a chance to share our thoughts and discuss in groups. All opinions are welcome, and no question is off limits!

When and where will it be?
The Alpha course will be running on Wednesdays from 7.30-9pm at the Kerith Windsor Church building. The first session will be on Wednesday 2nd February 2022.
Who could you invite?
Is there someone you know who is asking life’s big questions? Or maybe someone who is exploring faith and Christianity? I encourage you to invite them along! Maybe you could suggest going together? Let’s all be thinking and praying about friends and family who we could invite.
Or perhaps you’ve been a Christian for a while, but still have questions. Or you’d like to go back to the basics of Christian faith. Alpha is the place for you too!

How can I help?
We need volunteers to help serve at Alpha. There are various roles available. We need table leaders, people to cook meals, and help with welcoming guests and car parking. If you’re able to help out, please speak to Iain and Eliza Bailey, or email Bethany at bethany.christian-edwards@kerith.church.
Please also be praying:
Pray for Iain and Eliza as they lead the course.
Pray about who you could invite to try Alpha.
Pray for the guests who come, that they would encounter God’s love.
