Easter happenings at Kerith Windsor
Can you believe it’s only one week to go until the Easter weekend? What are your plans? Perhaps you’re looking forward to a restful Bank Holiday break, or maybe you’ve got kids to entertain during the school holidays. Whatever you’re doing, take some time to focus your attention on Jesus this Easter. Here’s what we’ve got lined up at Kerith to help you do just that…
Holy Week devotionals
This Sunday 10th April marks the start of Holy Week. We’re going to be posting some short devotionals on our social media pages during Holy Week to reflect on Jesus’ atonement for us on the Cross. Check them out on the Kerith Community Church Facebook page.
Good Friday service – Friday 15th April
Join us for our online Good Friday evening service. This will be a time to reflect on the Cross and focus our attention on what Jesus did for us and why it matters. We’ll have a time of worship, some Bible readings, communion and a short message. Join us from 7.30-8.30pm.
You can access the service at www.kerith.church/live, or on our Kerith YouTube channel.
Easter Eggstravaganza – Saturday 16th April
On Easter Saturday from 2-4pm, we’ve got a jam-packed afternoon of Easter fun for your kids (primary school aged-children). There will be games, craft activities, egg hunts, a bouncy castle, and loads of fun as we hear the Easter story. We ask that parents please stay and be responsible for their children.
We’re hoping that non-church families will come from the local community – please be thinking and praying about who you can invite.
And don’t forget to book your tickets! Find out all the details and sign up here: https://kerith.churchsuite.com/events/duy8gysp
Easter Sunday service – Sunday 17th April
You’re invited to celebrate Easter with us at church on Easter Sunday. Let’s rejoice that Jesus died and rose again! Find out what that means for you in our Sunday Service. Our kids will also be looking at the Easter story, as kids’ work will be on for ages 0-11. Come join at the usual time of 10.30am at the Kerith Windsor building.
We’ve got something fun lined up after the service… we’re going to have hot dogs! Our very own Shelley owns a food truck van and will be serving hot dogs for us outside. You won’t want to miss out.
Happy Easter
We hope to see you over the Easter weekend, but wherever you’re celebrating Easter may you have a blessed time and know God’s everlasting love for you:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’ – John 3:16
Wishing you all a Happy Easter!
God bless,
Bethany Christian-Edwards
