Prayer Meetings & Production
Here’s the latest update on all going on in our Farnborough congregation this week.
Our building has been a hive of activity! The auditorium is beginning to take shape: 4 sides of drapes are going up to screen off the warehouse walls and dampen the echo ready for worship; our production team has been working hard installing the video equipment; a dividing wall has been built to screen off the toilets; and we’ve now commissioned a consultant to do a traffic survey. Our volunteer teams have also been continuing to roll up their sleeves to cover the damaged murals to give our kids spaces a fresh lease of life.
Starting this week, we are going to be gathering twice a month to pray specifically for the building project. We will alternate our gatherings with in-person on-site prayer times, and with Zoom meetings. These will be at 7 pm on Sunday evenings with our first gathering on Zoom this Sunday 17th October and our first in-person prayer gathering after half-term at Invincible Road on Sunday 7th November. The intention is that these meetings will be 45-minute sessions of focused and specific prayer for breakthrough in the building project. Keep an eye on your inbox as I will be sending out the zoom link for these prayer gatherings to all our Farnborough Community on Churchsuite. If you don’t receive the link, please email info@kerith.church.
There will also be more working parties scheduled to continue painting and get the site cleaned. These will be planned for midweek during the day, midweek in the evening and on Sunday afternoons to try to cater for all interested so keep your eyes peeled for more information!
