All things Kerith Christmas!
As we head into Christmas, we thought it may be helpful for you to have a run down of all that’s going on in the life of Kerith.
On Sunday 4th December have our first Revive Christmas Party in Farnborough - please be praying for the team in their preparations for this, and for strong relationships to be built! Find out more about Kerith Revive here.
On Saturday 17th December we have our Christmas Experience - do get inviting your friends and family to come along! It would really bless our team if you could book your ticket, so we have an idea of numbers. You can read more about it, and book your free tickets by clicking here.
Events like this don’t just happen - we need people to serve to make it as special as it can be! Could you be part of the set up or set down teams, or perhaps serve during part of the event itself? Please email James Hopkin if you're able to serve.
Perhaps you’d like to be part of our Christmas Community Choir who will be singing on the day? The first two rehearsals are on Thursday 24th November and Monday 28th November, both at 8pm in our building. Come along for a sing and to meet people - ALL are welcome!
There will be no meeting on Sunday 18th December. However we are excited to say we have our first Christmas Day meeting in our new building, at 10am on 25th December (…we know you probably know the date for Christmas Day…but included it just in case!) We will join together for an hour for an all-age gathering, to worship together as church family to celebrate the birth of Jesus. If you have children then why not encourage them to bring along a small gift with them that they will have received - there will be opportunity for them to ‘show and tell’ during the meeting. We won’t be hanging around for teas & coffees after the meeting on this day - we all need to get those roast potatoes in our ovens!
The next time we will meet again in our Kerith Farnborough building will be on Sunday 8th January at 10am, so no meeting on 1st January.
However! There are two other opportunities for us all to join with other Kerith sites during the festive season, over at Kerith Bracknell.
The first will be a Christmas Eve meeting from 9-10pm, joining together to reflect, worship, take communion together and hear a short message. There’s no need to book, please just turn up.
Kerith Bracknell will also be hosting all the Kerith Sites for a New Year’s Eve celebration, from 10pm until after midnight. This will be a time to share in thankfulness for the year gone and to pray for the year ahead - while also having fun together! We do require you to book a place for this, and you can do that by clicking here.
Wow! So much going on at this time of year - but hopefully you will find it helpful to see everything written out here. We’d encourage you to make plenty of room for Jesus in this season. Make sure you’re following our social media, both Kerith Community Church on Facebook and Instagram, and Kerith Farnborough on Facebook only. The Kerith Community Church account will be sharing devotionals during advent to help us stop, and to focus on Jesus in all that’s going on.
