Bracknell Site Updates
We LOVED our first Selah Sunday last week- such a great opportunity to spend time in God’s presence and building our spiritual muscles in prayer for ourselves and our world. We have another planned post Easter so we’ll let you know when its coming up!
In other news….
Events are BACK in our auditorium, so great to have our building full for an outreach event again! The most brilliant BIG Curry and Quiz Night last Saturday hosted over 120 guests, they experiencing our famous hospitality, food and fun!
Watching the incredible Revive Team at work reminded me what a difference we can make where so many are willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
Here’s some of the feedback -
”Everyone on my table loved the quiz night, said the curry was fantastic and asked when the next one is! Well done all, you should be made up it was FAB event.”
“Thank you so much for organising such a fun evening last night. We really enjoyed the quiz and the curry was delicious! Everything was so well organised- congratulations to you and all your volunteers for raising so much money for such an important cause. Looking forward to next year already.”
“Hello, Just to say Thank you for a wonderful evening last night. The food was amazing please thank the chef and all his commis chefs. The quiz was good fun - Thank you again”
Families Team Update
This Sunday we are welcoming our new Kids Team Co-ordinator, Jo Foster who’s replacing Monique Olwage in post.
Jo brings with her a wealth of experience having worked as a childrens lead in a number of churches and serving on the core team for the New Wine festival childrens programme. She’s also just completed her MA in Theology specialising in children and families- so it’s going to be great to see the theory in practice across our sites where she’ll also have oversight of our multisite kids programme as Kids Champion in the other half of her busy week!
Jo has a heart for seeing our children discipled so they know Jesus personally from an early age, she has plans up her sleeves for kids small groups and out-reach events … but first we are going to be working on resourcing our Sunday teams as they disciple our under 11s each week. Did you know we regularly have around 100 kids in that age bracket each Sunday!
See below for a chance to meet her and get involved in Kids ministry in Bracknell. Or if you can’t wait till then you can contact her to join the team HERE
